We are located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Hash every Monday evening at 17:30 (saa 11:30) for a 1745 start from different locations in and around Dar. Information on Monday runs and hash events is sent out to our mailing list. You can join the mailing list by sending a message from the email address you wish to subscribe with to .

We also have fairly frequent weekend events. Turn up at the Monday runs to get details or contact an important person. The next weekend event is the AGPU on February 6th at Thai Village. Following that we will have the Dar to Bagamoyo Relay on May 15-16th. Another upcoming event will be hosted by DumbAss? at his place in Kawe sometime soon.

Although we are a family Hash, you'll have to judge for yourself what you are willing to expose your offspring to, as things do get a little rude sometimes, as do most Hashes! We uphold the practice of being a drinking club with a running problem and our aim is to make Hashing fun!

The cost of running on Mondays with us ranges from Tshs 5,000 ($4) to Tshs 12,000 ($9), depending on whether you want food or not. Food is provided at all of our runs, with a vegetarian option in theory. Special runs have special rates !!

N.B. Because of the increasing costs of food and drink, rates will be going up by Tshs2,000 ranging from Tshs5,000 to Tshs12,000 as of Sept. 1st, 2009. Children 12 and under are 5000. 13 and up pay same as adults.

Our trails are usually 5 to 6 km long and we always also have a walkers trail. The trails are laid on a mixture of roads and light bush, with sometimes a bit of beach running. After the Run we form the traditional Hash Circle, sing songs and have a lot of fun.

You will find friends here.
