Guidelines for Hares / Hosts

We are located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Hash every Monday evening at 17:30 (saa 5:30) for a 1745 start from different locations in and around Dar. Information on Monday runs and hash events is sent out to our mailing list. You can join the mailing list by sending a message from the email address you wish to subscribe with to hashers-subscribe@darhhh.com.

We also have fairly frequent weekend events. The next is a SabaSaba? run on Sun 6 and Mon 7 July down South Beach.lTurn up at the Monday runs to find out more or contact an important person.
Although we are a family Hash, you'll have to judge for yourself what you are willing to expose your offspring to, as things do get a little rude sometimes, as do most Hashes! We uphold the practice of being a drinking club with a running problem and our aim is to make Hashing fun!

The cost of running on Mondays with us ranges from Tsh5,000 ($4) to Tsh10,000 ($8), depending on whether you want food or not. Food is provided at all of our runs, with a vegetarian option in theory. Special runs have special rates !!

Our trails are usually 5 to 6 km long and we always also have a walkers trail. The trails are laid on a mixture of roads and light bush, with sometimes a bit of beach running. After the Run we form the traditional Hash Circle sing songs and have a lot of fun.

You will find friends here.
